Multi-Media Lions!
These first grade students learned about their local zoo and analyze various collage artworks that feature animals, as we talked about the animals that are in their local zoo. These students were able to make a lion using oil pastels and magazine scraps, while learning about blending, depth, and collage.
Summary:
1. Students will analyze various collage artworks that feature zoo animals
2. Students will demonstrate skills & craftsmanship by creating their own Lion collage.
3. Students will recognize their own strengths and weaknesses.
