Winter Wonderland.

I found this lesson on Cassie Stephens website, but in summary, my Kinder and 1st grade students learned about an artist named Grandma Moses. Grandma Moses did not become a famous artist until she was 70 years old! Throughout this 5 week lesson, the students learned about tints, shades, how to cut out shapes to make houses and trees, and different types of lines.
